Well you knew once the airlines started to charge for luggage they would want to make the most money possible. Over the last few days we have heard about some of the airlines closely checking the size of your carry-on. If it is over sized, you'll be paying at least $15 to check it, sorry. Of course they are blaming the TSA. This ought to get real interesting. They'll have people everywhere measuring carry-on bags and carrying credit card readers.
Here is the carry-on size limits for one major airline: Up to 51 in/129 cm (11 x 14 x 26 in or 28 x 35 x 66 cm). More than those dimensions and you'll be paying.
Oh, don't forget your checked bags. A 3rd bag may set you back another $100. Also they'll be measuring. If it is larger than: 62 in/157 cm, you'll have to dig into your pocket for a C-Note.
Be sure to build these costs into your vacation or business budget (or travel light). Check with your airline for the latest rules (and costs) for your baggage.
